Frequencies in Japan: Oscar Murillo in Conversation with Curator, Manabu Yahagi
* Conducted in English
Frequencies Institute and Mori Art Museum are proud to present: “Frequencies in Japan: Oscar Murillo in conversation with Curator, Manabu Yahagi.”
Join us this Friday, 14th January 2022 (10:00 GMT, 19:00 JST) to reflect on the contribution that Japanese school students have made to the international Frequencies project. In our first ever Live talk we ask; What did the canvases record whilst they were there? What was the response from the students and teachers who took part in the project? What does Frequencies mean to the artist that conceived of the project and the Curator who helped us share it with the Tokyo public?
We also want to hear from you! Whether you’re passionate about what we do here at Frequencies Institute, interested in Oscar’s practice or want to know more about what it means to be a Curator, keep a look out for our instagram stories for a chance to put forward your own questions to ask our guests. We hope to bring to light the origins of Murillo’s Frequencies project and what drew the Mori Art Museum’s Assistant Curator, Manabu Yahagi to be involved. This event is not one to be missed.
