Mori Art Museum: Notice on Temporary Closing

Please kindly note that the Mori Art Museum will be TEMPORARILY CLOSED from 13:00 to 16:00 (for 3 hours) on Saturday, June 8, 2013.

Opening hours on June 8, 2013: 10:00 - 13:00 (admission until 12:00), AND 16:00 – 22:00 (admission until 21:30)

Temporary Closing hours on the day: 13:00 - 16:00

Tokyo City View (52F, Roppongi Hills Mori Tower) will be open as usual.

Kin no Kokoro, a new sculptural work created to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Roppongi Hills and the Mori Art Museum will be sited by the pond in the historic Mohri Garden at Roppongi Hills as a permanent public art installation.

Kusama Yayoi Art Edition “The Me That I Adore”

A limited-edition original tea set by Kusama Yayoi, one of the artists featured in the “LOVE” exhibition and whose connection to Roppongi Hills and the Mori Art Museum runs long and deep, will be on sale to commemorate the 10th anniversary.
The artist herself directly drew her iconic imageries, such as polka dots, eyes, profile of a woman along with synergic lines onto pure-white teaware. This Kusama-original teaware adorned with lavish usage of gold is completely unprecedented, not to mention.
