On April 26, 2024, we held an artist talk commemorating the opening of MAM Collection 018: Nguyen Trinh Thi.

Nguyen Trinh Thi provided fascinating insight into her new work featured in the exhibition, 47 Days, Soundless (2024), including the process that led to its creation and her research into indigenous musical instruments.

In addition, Han Nefkens (Founder and President, Han Nefkens Foundation), co-commissioner of the work, introduced the foundation's activities, and a wide-ranging discussion was held with Miyatsu Daisuke (Art Collector; Professor, Yokohama University of Art and Design) about Nguyen's work and support for video works.
