A "Charming Journey" Round the Works of N. S. Harsha #7

2017.5.12 [Fri]

N. S. Harsha is also known for his workshops for children. He has a strong interest in how knowledge is absorbed and developed, or in other words, the potential of children. Future was born out of a workshop held in Roppongi Hills.

Harsha says 21st century is all about “future” and it encourages all kinds of economic, cultural and human resource investments around the world. One of the workshops held in Roppongi Hills that Harsha devised for this exhibition asks participating more than 100 elementary school children to imagine what they would like to be when they grow up, and to draw those future dreams on adult-sized shirts. On display here are works made by Harsha and elementary school children living around the Roppongi Hills area, where many businessmen work, and after the parade of those children wearing painted shirts with dreams in town.
