For MAMC members, "MAMC Night" & "Annual Cocktail Party" were held on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
At "MAMC Night," while the gallery tour of "Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal" by our Director, Nanjo Fumio was taken place, Kondo Kenichi, curator of the exhibition, joined the tour.
Mr. Morimura Yasumasa, an artist who had a solo exhibition at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh in 2013, was our special guest of this year's "MAMC Annual Cocktail Party."

[Profile of Morimura Yasumasa]
Born in 1951 in Osaka, where he continues to live and work. After completinghis graduate degree at Kyoto City University of Arts, he made his debut in 1985 with self-portrait works based on his personal interpretation of Vincent van Gogh. He has since produced a number of self-portrait based photograph and video works, identifying with art-historical images, film stars, and iconic figures from the 20th century. He has exhibited worldwide, including the Aperto section of the 43rd Venice Biennale in 1988.
He has been assuming the position of Artistic Director of the Yokohama Triennale 2014.
