Born in Incheon, South Korea in 1972, Lee Changwon graduated from the College of Fine Art, Seoul National University, and thereafter studied at the Kunstakademie Munster. He remained based in Germany for more than ten years, and currently resides in Seoul. Major solo exhibitions include "Reflection" (DoArt Gallery/Gallery Hyundai, Seoul, 2007), "Disappear" (AANDO Fine Art, Berlin, 2009) and "Parallel World" (Kim Chong Yung Museum, Seoul, 2011). Recent group exhibitions include "Soft Power" (Shanghai Zendai Museum of Modern Art, 2007), "Art Through Nature" (space*c; Coreana Museum, Seoul, 2008), "City_net Asia 2009" (Seoul Museum of Art, 2009) and "Pleasure Ground" (Lokaal01 Breda, Netherlands, 2010).
