An interactive activity related to Pop-up Mathaf @ Mori Art Museum, the symposium co-organized with Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art and Qatar Museums Authority titled “Same-Same But Different: The Role of the Artist in the Arab World and Japan”. In the activity booth, 30 of the best photographs from a photo competition held in Qatar will be displayed. Each photograph has its respective story or an incident behind it with the theme of Life in Qatar. Anyone can "buy" copies of the photo by leaving a response to the photographers’ stories. 'Baqala' is Arabic for 'grocery', and is just like a local ‘Konbini’ (convenience store) in Japan. Please come and join us at this small shop and experience the various charms of Qatar through the different photographs of fascinating life in the country.
