Announcement of Change of Mori Art Museum Chairperson
2024.10.23 [Wed]
The Mori Art Museum’s current Chairperson, Mori Yoshiko, will retire on December 31 this year, and Mori Kyoko, currently a member of the Mori Art Museum Board of Trustees, will take up the position of Chairperson on January 1, 2025.
Mori Yoshiko will continue to support the Mori Art Museum as the Chairperson Emerita after her retirement.
Mori Art Museum is now in its 22nd year and has so far staged 64 originally-curated exhibitions since opening in 2003, serving as a symbol of Roppongi Hills, the “Cultural Heart of a City.”
Under this new organization, the Mori Art Museum will remain committed to the principle of “Art + Life,” encouraging the realization of an enriched, vibrant and well-rounded society where art relates to all aspects of life, while maintaining the dedication to the “contemporary” and “international” that has been its mission from the start.
