One of the STARS artists Takashi Murakami now has huge 10-meter golden sculpture Haha Bangla Manus (“Flower Parent and Child”) on display at Roppongi Hills’ 66 Plaza. The dazzling golden-leaf work conveys the “energy” and “hopes” for the future from Roppongi Hills, the cultural heart of Tokyo, though we are faced with COVID-19 pandemic.
This is a part of the “ROPPONGI HILLS TAKASHI MURAKAMI PROJECT.” The project is opening up “Flower Cafe” today, Friday, November 27 for a limited-time and to run “Social Media Posting Campaign” together with the STARS exhibition.
Flower Cafe
A special “Flower Cafe” is open for a limited time where customers can fully enjoy Murakami’s unique ‘flower-motif.’ It will serve an unique set of menu items inspired by Murakami creations, including photogenic/Instagrammable “Flower Curry” and “Flower Omelet Rice,” as well as “Flower Pasta” which customers will be invited to decorate with dried seaweed molded into flower shapes.
