Members-only Event “MAMC Night” and “MAMC Annual Cocktail Party” to be held!

Two members-only events “MAMC Night” and “MAMC Annual Cocktail Party” will be held in April.

We will hold a Gallery Tour of “Roppongi Crossing 2019: Connextions” by Tsubaki Reiko (Curator, Mori Art Museum) in Japanese and by Yahagi Manabu (Assistant Curator, Mori Art Museum) in English at “MAMC Night” on April 2.

We will also hold this year’s “MAMC Annual Cocktail Party” Talk Event by Ikegami Takashi (Professor, the University of Tokyo) with above-mentioned Tsubaki on the following Tuesday, April 9. They will talk about “Alter,” an artificial life research project which is showcased in “Roppongi Crossing 2019.” After the special Talk, we will hold a networking event among participants while dining together.

Ikegami Takashi Profile

Born 1961 in Nagano. He received Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Tokyo in 1989. Currently a professor at the Department of General Systems Sciences, the University of Tokyo; and the director of the ALIFE Lab., Ikegami, specializes in artificial life and complex systems, while he’s been involved in art-related activities in recent years.
