Leonhard Bartolomeus
Leonhard Bartolomeus (b. 1987) is a curator at Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM], Japan. 2012, after graduating from the Jakarta Institute of Art, Barto joined ruangrupa (and later on Gudskul Ekosistem) until his departure to Japan in 2019. His curatorial, teaching, and research activities in recent years started to shift to the intersection between art, education, and community engagement. In 2017, alongside several curators in Jakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya, he co-founded a curatorial collective called KKK (Kolektif Kurator Kampung / Urban Poor Curator). He also still passionately researches community-based art programs and collaborative projects abroad. He lives and works in Yamaguchi, Japan.
Angga Wijaya
Angga Wijaya (b. 1989) completed his master’s degree at the Bandung Institute of Technology with the Arts and Curatorial Management study program. Angga works as a curator and educator. In his curatorial practice, Angga uses research from art history, pedagogy, the social realm, as well as collective and collaborative practices. Since 2018, Serrum, Grafis Huru Hara, and Ruangrupa have formed the Gudskul Study Collective, a “school” with a focus on collective art practice. At Gudskul, Angga is the subject coordinator of “Collective Arts Review,” which discusses collective arts practices historically.
